011 2A BBQ Gathering cum Miss Lim's Farewell Party

Needless to say,
2A Gathering was a huge success!
I was really jubilant that more than half the class turned up for the gathering. In fact there would have been MORE people turning up, however due to the holiday spree (it's December people), they couldn't turn up.
Even so, I'd a lot a lot of fun! :D Long and detailed post (with pictures of course) for everyone to read (and see)!
The organisers (namely Amanda, Jocelyn, Shao Tao, Thoven, Yu Ting, Zhen Yi and I) met @ about 10.35am. Apparently JOCELYN was late. HAHAHA. So we wenta buy more stuff to replenish the food, since there were MANY people going. Huahuawhee :)
Then we wenta Amanda's house and did some packing and wrapping of present. A great pity I forgot to take a picture of the cup and the card for Miss Lim. Zxzxzx.
@ about 12nn, we set off to CCK to meet the classmates. The ironic thing was, the organisers were late! Ugh, dislike that. Never mind, we'd valid reasons. Yehx. Then we waited for awhile before we headed to East Coast Park. At least the wait wasn't as long as the 3E Gathering (Subhaaaaaaaaaaan!) LMAO.
On the train, we talked talked talked, laughed laughed laughed. Soon, we arrived @ Bedok MRT Station. We took Bus 196 to ECP. Screw the driver!!
1) He was uber rude to me.
When I hopped on to the bus enthusiastically, I asked the bus driver, "May I know how do I get to East Coast Park?" Shockingly, the bus driver totally ignored me and gave me a totally irritating hand signal, signalling me to go and grab a seat first. I know he's trying to make the entrance clear for passengers, but at least tell me lah bodoh!
And please, I've met bus drivers who welcome ALL his passengers with a wide grin and not forgetting a "Good morning/afternoon/evening". Somemore, when his passengers alight, he'd go, "Have a nice day!" Like how nice can the driver be? Makes my day so pleasant please.
2) He told us to alight @ the wrong stop.
This was worse hokeh. He made us alight @ this bus-stop that brought us to the end of Area E. Goddammit out pit's @ the front of Area C. We'd to walk like 2km to reach there? Kay, maybe I was exaggerating, but we really walked darn freakin' long alright! ROARS!
Maybe it's my fault for not telling him Area C. But LOOK AT HIS ATTITUDE! The bottom line is this: Bus drivers should always give passengers a good impression! Don't you guys agree with me?
Done ranting. Actually, I wanted to take the usual everyone-posing-on-the-big-rock photo but everyone seemed really listless and restless from all the walking, so I skipped that. Hmmm. Now I kinda regretted it hahaha.
After what seemed like eons, we finally reached our pit. Area C Pit 8. I'd say it is a nice spot, cos it has got trees as shelters (but you'll have to be aware of bird shit hoho), and it's pretty windy. Just that the toilet's pretty far away so yeah. Perhaps Area B pits would be better. :DDD
Later, we put down our stuff and they wrote their cards for Miss Lim. A few went off earlier to rent bicycles and for lunch. So after all has written the cards, another group went to KFC for lunch while a few stayed to look after the stuff.
PPFFPP and I wenta to have our photo-taking session. Somehow, we ran out of poses. HAHAHA. We need more poses PPFFPP! Think of more alright! :D
Then I wenta KFC for lunch. Ordered Whipped Potato and Pepsi UPSIZED. Hahaha. So everything was upsized. I used the KFC Chicky Club Card to help everyone enjoy 10% off. Whoa so cool! :) I helped them save money. Teehee.
After that Miss Lim came! Wheeeee :) I played a few rounds of 99 with peeps, then Asshole Daidi. Fun hokay! :D Then they started BBQ-ing. Realized I used 'they'? Yes, cos I didn't help out at all. So sorry but I admit I'm a total amateur when it comes to this so yeah, the pros can definitely do it :DDD
After some time, the fire was finally started! :D Then BBQ started. Miss Tang arrived too. Hi Miss Tang! 8)
Then BBQ BBQ BBQ BBQ, FUN FUN FUN FUN. Soon, it was nighttime! :) Mr Koh came too, together with his wife and daughters. One of them mistook me for Mr Koh, wenta hug my leg HAHAHA so cool. :)
Soon, all of gathered and wheee I announced that this Gathering is actually a Farewell Party for Miss Lim. Wheeee :) Then everyone cheered. As usual, we made Miss Lim make a speech. We knew that she was very happy receiving our cards and the cup. The cup is nice la! Thanks to Amanda for the design, and Jocelyn for tracing it and collecting it.
