Day 2 day 2 people! :D
Looking back, I think I've blogged too much. Like full of words. So, I shall cut short my entry today. Day 2 isn't a lot anyway, so yeah here goes.
(Day 2)

First, all of us met at around 7am. Went into this classroom and we waited for the arrival of the teachers and Principal and other respected teachers of Huiwen. Meanwhile, we took some pictures. Hoho. We were all quite hyped up I think. Yippee.
Soon, the teachers came. There was a welcome speech made by Mdm Yong. I particularly 'like' one line said by Mdm Yong.
"虽然我们在这寒冷的天气里与你们在一起,但我们的心却是暖和的"
It is not the original version, but the idea's there, and I know you got my idea. HAHA quite cool right? There's warmth felt in our hearts despite being in the cold weather. A little hypocritical when she said it, but we know her feelings. :D
Then it was some tokens-of-appreciation ceremony. Mdm Yong presented several things to the Principal of Beijing Huiwen Middle School. His surname's Li I think. :) She presented 憧憬, Kranji Cookery Book, one 纪年盾 and I forgot. That should be all.
After that, Mr Li made a speech as well. Really felt very heartwarming listening to his speech. He welcomed us wholeheartedly, from the bottom of his heart. Was really happy and wheeeee excited. :)

Then, 崔主任 brought us to a tour around the school's heritage gallery. It's called 校史馆 specifically. The tour was nice, gotta know more about the school. It was actually called Beijing 26 Middle School before it was given the name 'Huiwen'.
One point to reflect on myself is my attitude towards it. I think I didn't take the tour seriously. Most of the time I was busy taking pictures or talking away and didn't listen to what 崔主任 said. That's one of the many things I learnt @ Beijing - always listen to what the teacher says, for there'll definitely be a time for us to talk or take photos. :)

After the tour, we went to our buddy's class. I was warmly welcomed by the classmates. I was so happy and at the same time, nervous. Didn't know what to say to them. I realize I do not have much common topics with them. The guys there like to tease people and LOOOOVE to play either soccer/basketball (which coincidentally I'm a sports-idiot). So I didn't talk much but smile, or go 'oh, haha'. Lame, I know.
Soon, lessons started. First lesson I attended was uhm, Biology. Learnt on some life cycles and the growing process of a few animals, like chicks, frogs and birds. I found it interesting, way more interesting than when I learnt it in Secondary 1 or in Primary School.
Why?
Simply because the teachers used videos (which're interesting and highly entertaining to me) to teach the students. I found that this is a better way to make students focus more and be engaged in the lesson more easily. :D Even I was listening attentively in class, despite the pathetic fact that I was rather weary. :\
My buddy, apparently, was listening VERY attentively to what the teacher was saying. He's a good pupil you know, heard from his friends that HE WAS THE TOP SCHOLAR IN ONE OF THE SEMESTERS THIS YEAR! :D Like, whoa. However, he didn't make it in the top 50 in the previous semester (I checked). What a waste. Work hard buddy! :)
After Biology was Physics. OMG all Science I dislike I dislike! Why can't it be Mathe? Like damn interesting! I don't mind learning Algebra, or Percentage, or even decimals all over again but why Science?! Ugh.
However, just when I thought I'd feel damn bored, I was wrong. I was amazed by how attentive and enthusiastic and willing the students are when it came to answering questions. They were not afraid that they'll give an incorrect answer. Their hands are always high up, well I can't say all of them, but whenever a question is raised by the teacher, there are bound to be at least 5 hands raised.
Like, is this the situation that we'll see in Singapore? Well, I shall narrow it down to Kranji. Maybe if you say in a Nursery class, or Primary 1, I'd say it's definitely possible. But Sec 1, Sec 2 or Sec 3? Possible?
N, O. NO.
Huiwen students' attentiveness and active participation just made me so wowed. I'm sorry I can't find a better word. But I know you know my point. This is seriously another point that I should learn from.
On that Physics lesson, they learnt on state processes. Like condensation, evaporation, boiling etc. I found it rather easy, but the Chinese terms are so difficult to memorise! However they do make sense la. :) Like freezing is 凝固, right? Hoho.
If you'd read my post yesterday and looked at the pictures, you'd have known that he is my buddy. And from the above picture, I can tell you that he is actually TEACHING the class! Like, he's so prooo and funny and courageous and all! : DDD He's just so gooood in class. Haha.

Okay, soon two periods of Science lessons ended. We went for lunchie lunch. Took a photo with Qi Sheng. I look weird. LOL. After lunch, was lessons conducted by Huiwen teachers. We'd History lesson and singing lessons I think. :D
Singing simply rocks! But I think if we were to sing songs by S.H.E, Jay Chou, Lee Hom etc it would be 100000000x better! Hoho, like so impossible. Never mind!

After lessons, we'd about 2 hours to slack and all. Then the gang met and we took pictures. Wheeee.
Here're only 5 pictures of Day 2. The rest are here. Clickie clickie :D
Stay tuned for Day 3 soooon! I hope this post is shortened already. I just can't stop typing. Hahaha.
Hokay, bye.
